Jason Copeland created these yummy ads for California Sandwiches, based in Toronto, Canada. I wonder if he was hungry when he designed these?

3 out of 4 biologists agree: Knitted Lab Rat is the cuddliest biology project, ever! If you think so too, then this, my friend, is the art object for you.
Wow your scientist friends and colleagues with the coolness of this piece of knitted art. The rat is hand knit from an acrylic mohair blend, and his little innards are needle-felted by hand out of 100% wool. He comes pinned into his actual dissection tray, but he is not glued down, so you can take him out and cuddle him if you wish.

Mad skills, and to make multiples for sale!? dang. For 80 bucks this gem can be yours! Check it out here.

How cool are these little toys?!  Mathias Koehler and Alessandro Bêda collaborated to create these fun robot toys containing floating organs.  If only these really existed I would have to buy them all!

A fabulous concept rendered beautifully.

Tough as nails

Only one of the qualities required to be part of our team.

Loiuse Besseling and Raquel Fernandez from the The AAA School of Advertising in Capetown, South Africa created this fantastic campaign for The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI), a non-profit organization that saves lives on South African waters.

Volunteers of the NSRI are prepared to exchange comfort and sleep for cold, wet and often dangerous conditions, hence must be as strong on the inside as the outside.

This campaign was entered into the Luerzers Archive Student Contest.

Aside from loving that show, this image is pretty cool, and gross, and painful to think about. Although, I’m sure we have all been ill at some point and felt like this was about to happen to our guts and/or brain. This also makes me think of Hannibal Lecter. I wonder if there is a before and after image?
